How sampling actually works: Different areas of any property have different soil chemistry. A front yard with full sun and a back yard with shade trees have completely different needs. An orchard block planted in 2018 has different fertility than one planted in 2010. Each distinct zone needs its own sample. We size our tiers around how growers and property owners actually use the service — not around an artificial single-sample minimum.

Residential / Yard (under 1 acre)
2-4 samples: Front yard, back yard, side yards if irrigated separately, vegetable garden or specialty plantings. Yard & Garden tier covers this completely.
Hobby Farm / Garden (1-10 acres)
4-8 samples: One sample per crop type or distinct zone. Small Operation tier is the right starting point.
Specialty Orchard / Vineyard (10-50 acres)
8-16 samples: One sample per block or planting year. Different rootstocks and ages need separate analysis. Commercial Operation tier.
Row Crop Operation (50-200 acres)
10-20 samples: One per management zone, typically 1 per 5-10 acres for uniform fields. Commercial Operation tier or Annual Partnership.
Golf Course / Athletic Complex
12-24 samples: Greens, tees, fairways, rough, and athletic surfaces each have separate fertility needs. Commercial Operation or Annual Partnership.
Sod Farm / Production Nursery
15-30 samples: Each variety or production block needs separate analysis. Annual Partnership recommended for ongoing optimization.
